Kisis Isquao Poni-Cappo (Sun Woman Standing)is from Muscowpetung First Nation and has Saulteaux, Ojibwe, Dene, and Blackfoot ancestry. She currently attends high school at Greenall High School in Balgonie, SK. Kisis recently started a campaign called #wearingmyculture, which is a photo campaign that ran last October. For this project, she invited people to wear cultural attire to schools to stand up against racism, showing Canadians that the First Nations are still here and that they're proud of their culture.
